Whole life we studied that our solar system consists of eight planets but, recent studies have revealed something too big for the whole world to digest. Two astronomers of Caltech, Brown and Konstantin Batygin have created a suspense about the evidence they found regarding the presence of a ninth planet. Isn't it a big news to swallow inside?
Yet now, the proposed planet has not been figured out directly but, the gravitational effects of the planet on the other planets have helped in providing the significant presence of it.

The study has suggested that the ninth planet has been found behind the Neptune and is even two to four times larger than the size of earth's diameter. The astronomers have given a name to the planet as "Planet X."
The characteristics that this planet left on other planet reveals that it has highly elongated orbit than any other planets orbit and that realm faces an opposite direction.
The ninth planet is estimated to be around 5,000 times the Pluto's mass. The orbit of the planet is so long that it will almost take 20,000 years to complete the full round of the Sun. And, is so large that it would get the fifth place in the solar system.
In 2014, Chad Trujillo and Scott Shepherd were the two who noticed that a dozen of objects of Kuiper Belt had distinct traits in their path. They found that there was any significant gravitational force that was poking the trip of the objects around the sun.
Kuiper belt is the round shaped area of icy bodies which also consists of Pluto.
