There's seriously no point in ignoring farts. They are a part of every person's daily routine.
Farts, especially the smelly ones, are a sign how your digestive system is working. Farts are a mixture of swallowed air and gas produced by the bacteria in the lower intestine.
But if you're dealing with more frequent gas than usual, your body might be trying to send you some hints about how it's functioning.
Read on to see if one of these culprits is behind your sudden stinkiness.
Farting is absolutely normal. Every human's fart is equivalent to half litres. But, frequent and really stinky farts can indicate a chronic problem, like irritable bowel syndrome or celiac disease, or an infection like gastroenteritis.
In spite of having a good bowel movement, if you still have disgusting smelling farts, it indicates some serious illness. And you should reduce the intake of foods which are high in sulphur content such as beef and pork. Replace these meals with low sulphur counterparts such as fish and chicken.
This happens when adults have less ability to digest lactose. Lactose is sugar, which is high in dairy products. Hence, people with such disease should avoid it.
Carbohydrates malabsorption ranges from mild to severe, and often accompanied with abdominal pain. This in severe form is known as Celiac disease, where the symptoms are difficulty indigestion with pain and diarrhoea.
If you were clogged up for long, then your body can turn into a farting machine. When stool isn't moving, people often feel like they make more gas-and more noxious smelling gas. That's because the poop is mainly made up of bacteria, so you have more of it just sitting around on your system, fermenting and releasing fumes out into the world. If you're constipated, make sure to drink a ton of water.
Chew food more before swallowing. This will help the stomach and intestines break down the food. Consume more fresh fruits and vegetables because they are a natural laxative. It will help you have regular bowel movement. Stomach troubles have been treated with peppermint, garlic, sassafras for centuries.
Farting more than 22 times daily shows you may consume something that pumps more air into your guts. It does not pose a threat to your health, and it can be changed easily. Frequent farts can be caused by drinking a lot of coffee, consuming lots of carbs, foods that are difficult to be broken down by the intestines, consuming a vegetarian diet, or eating your food really quickly, leading to swallowing lots of air.
