Apple has witnessed a great jump in its IOS devices sales. This is because of the launch of the new device iPhone 6. On the contrary, Windows 10 has seen a slope downwards after the steep initial start.
This is the reason why Apple's IOS sales have surpassed those of Microsoft's Windows for the first time in the history.
Keeping eyes on the top spot in the tech world, Microsoft would be a strong contender for its most complete Windows operating system yet. But, the massive sales of Windows 10 didn't make up for the declining sales of PCs.
The declining sales of the Windows PCs aren't the thing of today. We have been experiencing it since the last four years.
According to Gartner, in the fourth quarter of 2015 market, the fifth consecutive quarter of worldwide PC shipment, sales declined about 8.3 percent as compared to the fourth quarter of 2014.
The sales of Windows devices dropped to 275 million. In contrast, Apple sold more than 300 million devices in the form of iPads, iPhone, Macbook, etc. And, talking about IOS devices, it amounted to a total of 290 million last year.
Apple has also revealed that 75 percent of the compatible devices are running IOS 9.
Microsoft is planning on luring its Windows 7 and 8.1 customers to upgrade it to Windows 10. Also, when the Microsoft's phones with Windows 10 debut in the market, things might get better for it.
