On the last day of vacation, the couple decided to go on trekking in the remote forest but their adventure turned into a nightmare when cannibals kidnapped them.
The couple walked through the jungle for 1 hour when two tribesmen captured them, forced them to strip away everything and dragged long way into the jungle.
Michelle was treated in a horrifying way that when she tried to fight, her fingers got deep cut to the bone.
It is believed that tribals of Papua New Guinea eat the people by torturing them and can barely speak or understand a common language.
Somehow, the couple managed to flee away from the captors but the terrible incident left marks which feared their body as well as the mind.
The pair was forced to strip and go naked. They also told that they were savagely beaten by machetes when they tried to calm tribesmen down.
Matthew statements completely showed his fearful situation. He stated that "They took our belongings, I was naked in the most remote jungle on Earth with no shoes and Michelle was bleeding buckets beside me in her underwear. But nothing mattered except getting away, so we ran".
Michelle and Matthew are safe and are under treatment in hospital.
