The young boy spotted a path that led to the lake, on which no plants grew. There was no vessel or body in sight but there were bubbles streaming up from the water bed.
The boy, not knowing what to do with his discovery, alerted the elders around him that included hikers. After a little digging and investigating, they called upon the authorities.
The authorities, loaded with proper machines and equipments came to the scene. This meant that the story was more to just bubbles from the lake.
While digging the water bed, they hit something made of metal. After further excavations, it was clear that they were digging a craft or something.
After sometime that felt like forever, they were finally able to disclose the mystery. It was a WWII tank which was in nearly perfect condition.
The metal body that the authorities had struck to was a Soviet - Built T34/76A Tank. They believe that the tank was kept in the lake so that it remained out of reach of the enemies.
This mysterious tank weighs over 27 metric tons and has been in at the bottom of the lake since past 56 years. It is believed that the fight took place just 1000 feet from what is today a disc golf park.
