Combating emotional turmoil is one of the biggest parts of everybody's life. While women get over it quickly, men have a very, very tough time getting their life back together.
This 40-year-old man from St. Louis was no different and had a very tough time trying to fight his divorce and get the custody of his kids. In an attempt to put his life back together, he decided to shred his flab and become fit from fat. Whereas some people have to undergo surgeries to take care of their morbid obesity, you can read about it here, this man has set an excellent of example of how can you come out of your emotional turmoil with physical fitness.
He says, "Trying to save the marriage and family I had, I used what little I made to pay our bills. We owned a really reasonably nice home, the only I had ever owned. Our marriage just couldn't be saved, and I eventually fell so far behind in support the state charged me with a felony. I was depressed, in the worst ways. I couldn't leave the house. I basically stayed in a room all day, walked to the corner if I bummed $5 from my mom. I was 38. Pathetic."
After his divorce, he started looking another woman, an old flame of his with whom he was on an on-off relationship. One day, the woman checked his phone and saw messages from his ex-wife as well as a message he had sent to a friend that said he wasn't planning to stick around with this woman.
He says, "I still have nothing. I spent six weeks in county jail this summer, I have a court date for felony support on 19th. There is no help for someone like me, I just can't get back on my feet. I don't have drug or alcohol problem, I just have life problem. I am emotionally 200 percent better. My spirit is in a good place, it's just not the same without my kids to share it with."
However, walking out of the whole emotional turmoil and starting a new, healthy life is quite a challenge and although he has failed in the past, Keith has sure won the battle on this front.
