Meet Gemma Cottam, a 25-year-old, live in a place called Skelmersdale, inbetween Liverpool and Wigan in the North West of England. The reason why we are introducing her today is because of her uniqueness, she faced something and decided to spread words. According to her Facebook page, it all started when a pimple that had appeared on the side of her face turned into a mole. Later she decided to visit a doctor.

After ten years, it started to increase drastically in size, so she decided to get it removed.
After she returned from a vacation, her fiance, Paul proposed to her. Later they decided to go for a procedure.
But it took several weeks for the results of the biopsy. Her scar after surgery looks popped open.
Her doctor told her that she would have to have three centimeters of her skin removed from her face and a biopsy done on her lymph nodes to determine whether cancer had spread or not.
But soon she gets to know that cancer had spread to her lymph nodes, and it was now on stage 3. She underwent another procedure which caused nerve damage.
For a girl, it's hard to deal with the scars. She says she often gets stares from the strangers. But she never stopped, and she wants to encourage others to get their skin checked. Just like her, you can also save someone's life just by sharing this article. Also, share your valuable comments.
