Scarlette Tipton, when she was just ten months old, suffered from cancer. As a result, her left arm was completely amputated. That's very unfortunate, and the parents must have gone through the toughest times in their life.
But the happiness did knock at their door finally. Doc, a rescue kitten, suffered through an accident involving car and got her paw amputated. On the Christmas Eve, The Tipton family went to a shelter and adopted the cat.
..and both the little girl and kitten lost something.
She was only ten months old that time. She was diagnosed with the never-before-seen type of cancer. It made her arm swell up, and that's when the misfortune began.
..and unfortunalty lost her paw.
And the two found each other on the Christmas Eve.
And the parents struggled to comfort the little Scarlette after the operation.
"We wanted a little kitten to have [Scarlette] grow up with, so she has something that's just like her," mom Simone Tipton told Love Meow. She did notice that Doc had staples on her side and said 'owies'. I let her know that she had owies just like her, and she placed her hand on her side and just nodded. She recognizes that the cat has similar struggles as she does."
