Meet Angela Clayton, an immensely talented costume designer from Long Island, New York.
She started this journey long back when she was only 15-year-old. She attended Cosplay and got interest, later she decides she won't continue attending events; rather she will work on her original ideas.
She said her single project can take as long as 250 hours, and she once used 11 meters (12 yards) of fabric for a gown! Later she told Cosmo “I hope that there is a future career that I will get out of it.”
She added, "I love making costumes, and I love bringing ideas to life. If I could do that for fashion, especially for theater or film, that would be awesome…I would rather go straight into that if I can instead of spending four years at the school."
She was into Cosplay and couldn't afford the costly dresses so she thinks of creating on her own.
She started her first dress, and it wasn't the same, but she still enjoyed.
This increased her interest and she started sewing various gowns as she enjoys it.
She started focusing on historical projects and original designs.
She said "If you practice, you can definitely do it. It might take you a while."
Although it's her natural talent but one can also learn this technique.
She loves making gowns and bringing ideas to life.
All I want to say that is Angela is blessed with immense talent and she is an inspiration also. One can also learn and discover their talent.
