19 Films You Should Definitely Watch This 2016

Film addicts and movieholics out there: I know that this year, you are looking forward to a more exciting line-up of movies on the silver screen. Your wait is finally over. Prominent production companies set the pace as they have announced series of traditional and published stories, or famous games transformed into fresher, more intricate, and more exciting some-two-to-three-hour visual productions, with themes ranging from sci-fi, fantasy, cartoons and other genres. In short, there are new movies you all have to anticipate this 2016! 

Alright, I won't dwell much into cheesy introductory remarks. Prepare your pens and paper, or screencap them on your smartphones and other devices. Without further ado, here are they. Go!

1. 13 Hours: The Secret Soldiers of Benghazi

Coming Soon on January 15, this film is a true-life story involving six security staff doing their duty to defend the American compound of diplomacy situated in Benghazi, Libya after September 11, 2012, terrorist attack. 13 Hours Film was adapted from the book "13 Hours" authored by Mitchell Zuckoff. It is directed and produced by Michael Bay. This masterpiece is a Paramount Pictures production.

Jointly produced by DreamWorks Animation and Oriental DreamWorks, and distributed by 20th Century Fox, Kung Fu Panda 3 is the third installment of "Kung Fu Panda". It is a more colorful continuation of Po's (voiced by Jack Black)adventures, with more dilemmas. Kung Fu Panda 3's premiere is set on January 29.

Coming in theatres on February 5, 'Hail, Caesar!' is a comedy film directed by Ethan and Joel Coen. Eddie Mannix, played by Josh Brolin, and other casts will give life to a 1950's Hollywood setting, having a plot about unraveling the real score behind the disappearance of actor Baird WIthlock (George Clooney).

Soon to be launched on February 12 in the North America, Deadpool (played by Ryan Reynolds) is an X-Men movie about a superhero being improved by a laboratory experiment whose reign is for chasing who ruined his past life. The movie is directed by Tim Miller, under 20th Century Fox, Marvel Entertainment, Kinberg Genre, and The Donners' Company.

5. Zootopia (Zootropolis in Europe)

5. Zootopia (Zootropolis in Europe)

Produced by Walt Disney Animation Studios, the movie is showing on March 4. Zootopia, directed by Byron Howard, Rich Moore, and Jared Bush, will share a story about a fox and rabbit (with human abilities) searching for a missing otter.

6. Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice

6. Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice

After the collaboration of DC Entertainment, Atlas Entertainment, Cruel and Unusual Films, RatPac Entertainment. an unusual merging of heroes has been brought to life. Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice will tell us a story about an intense superhero-superhero conflict amidst serious troubles posed to humankind. The movie is distributed by Warner Bros, and will be available in theatres, on March 25.

Available to public on April 15, The Jungle Book will again show us Mowgli (played by Neel Sethi), in his new journey away from the jungles and to know himself more. It is directed by Jon Favreau and produced by Walt Disney Studios.

The Angry Birds Movie will be seen in movie houses from the 27th of May.

As another American Sci-fi movie following its 2013 prequel "Star Trek Into Darkness", "Star Trek Beyond" will cater to the story about the bigger adventure USS Enterprise crew is going to face on a different planet. The movie will be viewed by the 22nd of July, and it is directed by Justin Lin, under Skydance Productions, Bad Robot Productions, K/O Paper Products, and Paramount Productions.

Watch this DC Comics antihero film adaptation on August 5, in 3D, IMAX and 2D. Suicide Squad is directed by David Ayer, starring Cara Delevigne, Viola Davis, Will Smith, Jared Leto, Margot Robbie, Joel Kinnaman, and Jai Courtney. Watch out for an all-new breed of action.

Although there was an issue regarding the direction of this film, Gambit will still push through. To be released on October 7, our New Orleans super hero capable of distinctive power and card deck manipulation will show us another X-Men mutant's magnified story. Gambit will be starred by Magic Mike lead Channing Tatum, and it is directed by Doug Liman.

Assassin's Creed is under the direction of Justin Kurzel, and produced by Jean-Julien Baronnet, Patrick Crowley, Michael Fassbender, Frank Marshall, Conor McCaughan, and Arnon Milchan. You will be able to watch this adventure by December 21.
