January this year, George Pickering III experienced a highly fatal form of stroke. It made him comatose for some time. Then, an announcement boomed George III's immediate family.
Upon hearing the news, father George Pickering II (right), pressured the doctors to exert more efforts to cure his then announced 'brain-dead' son George III (left), by pointing guns, together with being hysterical.
George II barged in the Tomball Regional Medical Center, Texas, only thinking about his 27-year old son's betterment in his mind.
Father Pickering, according to the story was the only one who's negative about 'stopping' George III's life support. His disagreement caused almost four hours of a stand-off.
While drunk, he believed that the diagnosis is not yet final. George II pointed guns to medical personnel. Finally, his other son was able to take away the gun from his hold.
Hysterical father positioned near the near-dead victim when suddenly, son George managed to move his hand and squeezed father George's. That was when George passed through the comatose stage.
Son George's movement spread a ray of hope through father George's heart and mind. He realized that he made a mistake, but, at least he did his part. He surrendered to the authorities afterwards.
Things get better just recently. George was already in good shape for months now, and Daddy George was released from imprisonment.
