Well, doctors recently revealed that $ex generally release a flood of hormones which triggers bonding, pleasure & happiness within you. Some studies by them even show that intercourse is good for health, protecting you from heart & bone diseases.

Dr Arun Ghosh of Spire Liverpool Hospital, states that Oxytocin is released during $ex, also known as "cuddle hormones" is responsible for making us trust people easily. Women release this hormone more & they are more likely to give up and fall in love with the man after $ex. However, the problem is that your body can't differentiate at that moment between the person you're with is either a casual fun or a marriage material. This sometimes might put an end to your relationship.
As you, all know that when we reach 35, we all start to lose 7000 brain cells every day. But according to a research in Princeton University, US, it is stated that $ex can help you to grow new brain cells. Adding to that, Dr.Ghosh says that older people who are sexually active have lesser chance of having dementia.
To your surprise, lips are more packed with nerve endings than fingertips. Due to this, while kissing, the brain starts to do multiple mechanisms, releasing chemicals that can lower the stress & make your mood. It moreover releases pleasure hormone which helps you to enjoy after foreplay part.
$ex can also be beneficial for you in health aspects, especially heart. During a study in Queens'University, it was revealed that having $ex thrice a week can lower the possibility of heart attack or stroke.
Paul Thompson, the neurology professor at University of California, LA, explains that there is a circuit in a brain which is involved in feeling happy.This circuit is called limbic region, located deep in brain & it's more active while making love.
$ex can be a good exercise for the pelvic muscles which are responsible for urine disposal, reducing leakage & Incontinence in females.
It is found that in U.S research that menopausal women who had intercourse every week had double oestrogen levels.This hormone does a productive help in making bones stronger. Moreover, the amount of sex is also important.The more you make love, the better semen you produce, indirectly making you more fertile.
Well, if you are feeling disturbed or struggling to fall asleep, it's better to have $ex instead of taking sleeping pills, stated by Dr.Ghosh. Moreover, it's profitable to have $ex in the evening instead of morning because the body wants relaxation after work.
