The story has been reported in a shed located near Forked River, New Jersey where a Pit Bull was abandoned by his owner and practically left to die. This is the story of Devlin, a Pit Bull dog, who's owner abandoned him in a shed with no water and no food and left him to die. But apparently, this did not happen.
Devlin was left alone with no food and water in a broken shed, which leads us to the conclusion that the owner wanted him dead. Before leaving, the owner locked the door and made sure there was no escape.
The owner of the dog, Devlin, constructed a barricade and padlocked him there to make sure that the dog cannot run away and that he has no survival chances.
The family or the owners of Devlin left him in a very grim situation. They did not bother about how the dog was supposed to survive as they left him behind with no water or food inside the shed. The dog was on its own, with no one to care of him and without any means of survival.
Even after such a situation, Devlin did not give up. After he realised that no one was going to come for his rescue, he decided to save himself from this misery. This is a great deal of perseverance that is commendable about the dog.
Devlin tried to work out his escape and he succeeded. He searched for a way out and dug out a tiny hole from the shed. He was able to manage his escape even after all the negative factors.
After being able to escape, he ran for help. Devlin came across a few neighbours who took pity on the underweight and frightened the dog. This was probably the most miraculous escape for Devlin.
In this picture, you see Devlin quenching his days' long thirst as the neighbours offered him water. This was probably the best meal the dog had ever had.
The mystery of the owners of Devlin still remains undisclosed. But looking at him, we can make out what kind of people would have actually abandoned this beautiful boy in such a deadly situation. Despite the situation he was put to, he survived, and the credit goes to his determination and continuous efforts that are something we all should learn from him. It doesn't matter what the situation life puts us in, we must not give up. We must have faith in ourselves and look for a way out, because there is always a way out just like in the case of Devlin. He did not give up and survived. I really hope that he gets a family he deserves and loves him back. Cheers to his spirit!
