IN DIY ON
Sometimes, you stumble upon something that seems totally cheap, and when you buy it, you think of a billion ways to actually make use of what you just spent. This is the story of a man who saw a pretty cheap and big container. Well, with it, he could totally be productive and do something amazing, right?
Check the images and the video below to see how one huge hole turned into an excellent structure upon completion of the man's DIY project.
Wayne believed that something useful could be done with the large container, so he first started digging a massive hole to eventually put the container in.
Wayne Martin was able to buy a shipping container just for a couple of thousand dollars.
Now that steel, beams and wires are being placed, it seems like Wayne is about to have a pretty nice and tough basement to live in, just in case there's a war or zombie attack.
To be fully useful, it has to have good foundation and a solid cover from above and from the sides.
Well, we really wouldn't want soil to get all soft and just break the container slowly, right?
After putting some concrete, trees were planted to ensure that the soil near the container remains strong and nurtured.
So when there's a nuclear war or a zombie attack, Wayne can just go to his underground bunker and drink a lot of wine. Yes, he turned it into a wine cellar.
Get to work and share the story if you liked it. Merry Christmas!
