One of them is the Lagarfljót Worm. This worm has many pieces of evidence which prove its existence. Recently, a couple of tourists have captured this worm beneath the sea which further proves its existence. Read on to know more about this special kind of worm- Lagarfljót Worm.
According to the legend, there have been many instances where Lagarfljót worms have been seen beneath the sea. It was added to the urban legend back in 1345. It is believed to exist in Lagarfljót.
It is said to be about 39 feet long and is often referred to as the sea monster. It is often seen beneath fresh water in or around the Lagarfljót area.
The worm has been seen by various people, including the head of the Icelandic wildlife. Many villagers have often reported of seeing the beast on various occasions.
The villagers around the Lagarfljót area believe that once you have an encounter the animal, it is believed to be a disastrous event. Now many signboards have also been placed around the lake area.
Recently, a couple has recorded the movements of this beast beneath the water. This recording further proves the existence of the Lagarfljót worm. They even described the monster as a slithery, long worm.
The government has declared this video completely legit. You can easily see the worm moving beneath the clear water in the video. This video was recorded in 2012 by a couple of tourists. This definitely makes Iceland, even more, interesting than it already is.
