The diet involves eggs, meat, fish and ample amounts of fruit and vegetables.
Ms Cooper would consistently feel lousy and would struggle with food allergies. That's when she made the decision to switch to a paleo diet.
Ms Cooper says she is not at all worried about the consequences she and her daughter might have to face regarding their diet in the future when she attends parties that will have sugar-loaded food stuff like cakes and candies. She feels that her daughter will have the maturity to decide what to consume and what not to. "She'll probably come home jacked up on sugar and cake and say, 'mum I don't feel very well'. And next time instead of eating 12 cupcakes she might only eat three."
Ms Cooper says she does not want to be the kind of mum who tells her child what to have and what not to have. "She'll also learn what makes her feel good and what doesn't," says the mother.
