Jordan Jacobs, 21, from Lyneham, Wiltshire, has gone missing after taking a free ride with a local man in Thailand. The man reportedly called his parents to tell them that a man in his late 20s who has offered him a free ride took him to an island and won't leave him now.
The family received a message from Jordan on Saturday saying that he could never see them again. Jordan was supposed to come back to the UK after boarding a flight from Bangkok today.
Jordan was last seen on Ko Phi Phi Don island with a Thai man and went missing after accepting the free ride from him.
Jordan texted his mother Debbie, who is currently undergoing cancer treatment, to inform her that he would never see them again, and he was sorry as he couldn't have said goodbye to them.
Jordan's sister Emily said, 'Saturday morning my mom received a message via Facebook from my brother who basically said he can never see us again, that he is sorry he can't see us one last time, that he loved us, etc. He was upset and said that the man wouldn't let him leave. That he was scared of him.'
He had a word with Emily on Monday but didn't mention anything about his location.
Jordan made a call to his family from the cell phone of Cypriot tourist who told his parents that Jordan borrowed from him on Kon Phi Phi Don island.
Emily added, 'There was no more contact until Monday morning where my brother appeared online, and after few attempts I was able to speak him on the phone using the Facebook, wifi messenger. I was on the phone for 90 seconds. He couldn't or wouldn't tell me where he was. He said, "I need to keep you all safe." 'I asked if he was ok, where he was, and he said, "I've said too much. I can't talk. I love you." And that was it. We've had no contact since.'
