Batman V Superman Dawn of Justice
That name sounds like a whole movie summarised in the title. There already have been a lot of speculations about how this movie is going to turn out. Ben Affleck's casting as Batman has already made many reluctant of watching, especially after the successes achieved by the Nolan's Batman Trilogy and some outstanding performances by the cast.
But, that might just not be reason enough to underestimate the movie, but if you have watched the trailer, you will get a whole lot more.
So it happens with Zack Snyder, explosions and destruction is bound to happen and same goes for Superman also but Batman is about being silent and fear inducing. How he dragged him into it must be too damn interesting.
It isn't that Batman doesn't use guns and bullets but certainly not on any living creature. The way bullets are seen fired on Superman reflect on Batman as if he's just another savage self-assured vigilante instead of a sophisticated and cunning silent killer. Then there is the scene that shows him holding a gun so no counter on that.
Which ultimately (so it seems), led to the inclusion of events from Man of Steel and of course, Batman's past need be introduced too, so basically a considerable part of it will be what we've already seen before.
Not to mention, the attempts to create a DC Universe. The political plot in IM2 was reasonable, considering the vast business background of Stark and his involvement in Defense sector but bringing Superman to the court just doesn't serve the purpose. And c'mon he's an alien with superpowers, you can't control him anyway. Even characterisations have been altered for the purpose.
They practically gave away the whole story in the trailer. Already the name confirmed the battling of the two heroes, the rest of the movie was given away too with the introduction of other heroes and the final outcome of the two becoming buddies. A trailer is meant to tease the audience and tempt them to watch. And, if this is really meant to tease then you are promising way too much.
And, how he was made too. It is now known that Captain Zod is turned into Doomsday (which is a nice touch) but does it really needs to be told in the trailer. And, some are comparing Doomsday's build to a freaking Ninja Turtle character.
Again trying to impersonate Marvel's tricks, the script as much in the trailer is loose and unimpressive. And, the attempts to make jokes in between fight, Downey Jr. is a must to pull that off. References to God and the Devil, and all is just going south. There are a lot more minor bugs, let's see if you can find some. Do share and tell us what they are.
