The world knows what happened with Titanic. Similar was the fate of many other ships as well.
A steamboat "Arabia" that ruled Missouri in 18th century sunk in 1856. It was carrying goods for the American frontier.
If this doesn't shock you, I will tell you about the bizarre things that are recovered from it now.
The boat got badly torn apart and could never come back to land.
The left-behinds of the survivors was something epic.
In these 132 years, Missouri shifted a bit, naturally, and this led to the boat sealing deeper.
Bob with his sons, followed maps and used a proton magnetometer to track the probable location of the boat and start digging.
With it, 200 tons of load too was recovered.
A researcher tested it by literally consuming it. Such a lucky chap!
So who will like to taste the century old pickle?
The treasure seemed real enough for people in the 21st century to buy.
