In our society, models are often incredibly thin or at least fit, whether they are men or women. However, that doesn't mean that millions of people are not actually not "sexy" in the way society proposes. Moreover, many people are actually obese and while it is the right of people to do whatever they want with their bodies, it's not a secret that being obese poses health problems to the individual that could lead to emotional and mental problems such as having a lower self-esteem and simply feeling tired all the time. Here is the story of an obese man who successfully lost weight and became a happier man.
Here, Jared might look normal as a child, but growing up proved that he would be facing some health problems.
As Jared grew older, it was clear that he was getting bigger, and not just in the sense that he was getting taller and more shapely, thanks to maturity and adulthood.
Well, after living 40 years getting bigger and bigger, Jared finally realized that something needed to be done. He noted that now, he is different and that he feels that he wants to live differently, for the better.
Jared, at most, weighed 500 pounds for a significant part of his life. That meant he couldn't normally have done simple things as running and going to work without breaking a sweat. Truly, it was a hassle.
For 390 days, Jared worked a lot and was determined to lose the weight so that he could live a better life with a more healthier lifestyle.
Jared decided that having a journal to take down notes and record his progress as he made his way to success would help. He started making a blog in June 3, 2014 to talk about the pains and successes of trying to lose weight.
When Jared was young, he already admitted that being obese was unhealthy and that it would probably lead others bullying him, but it was only until 2014 that he finally decided to change it all.
He had recorded himself making exercises so that by the end, he would be able to see the transition from a 500-pound man who easily gets tired to healthy, fit man with a new perspective in life.
It might have taken Jared months and months of hard work and determination, but everything clearly paid off as Jared now feels better about himself, physically and emotionally. Check out that transformation! Let it inspire others to not give up and change for the better.
