What would you do if you were just travelling somewhere, in a far away area, and you stumbled onto a creepy yet fascinating place? Would you actually dare to check out the area, or would you run for your life?
Well, this man actually saw an abandoned palace in the middle of a jungle, and the place is supposedly haunted. Here is what he discovered.
This place was built back in the 1990's and surprisingly, never actually opened for the public.
It was Jacob Laukaitis who somehow stumbled onto this creepy building as he was travelling in a jungle in Bali, Indonesia.
As Jacob decided to investigate the area, he saw some bathrooms that would have been gorgeous if they weren't left to just rot for years. Another creepy thing is that he saw a pair of flip flops around near the entrance. Yikes.
Here you can see that the paint has started to fall off. The place has been left to crumble and so weeds have crept up to the ghost building. Vines and weeds have grown while the status of the palace have long been left alone.
Some people think that the abandoned palace is haunted because apparently some laborers died because of unsafe working conditions. Uh oh.
The locals who are aware of the place call it the Ghost Palace Hotel. Are there really ghosts there? Probably not. Just broken dreams of tourism and business.
