Baby West arrived on Saturday, parents although officially announced it on Monday, 5th. They named their cute baby boy, Saint. Their son is truly a blessing because Kim's pregnancy was quite difficult, and that is the reason, the lovely couple chooses a religious name.
Her pregnancy was not quite enjoyable. Kim was suffering from something called Placenta accreta when the placenta grows too deeply into the uterus. The condition has the potential to cause severe blood loss after delivery.
Kim said,"They gave me an IV with medication to relax my uterus, and then three doctors attempted to work together to turn the baby." Kim went on to explain: "There was a risk that my water might break or the baby's heart rate could drop - in which case, an emergency C-section would then take place. I went in with my sisters and my husband. I was prepared for it all!"
She continued, "They don't give you any pain medication, and let me tell you: This was soooooo painful. Probably more painful than childbirth. "BUT it worked!!! My baby is in the right position and it feels so good to not have the stress of thinking I need a C-section."
Lawrence Cunningham, a professor of theology at University of Notre Dame says, "The word saint simply means one who is set aside or one who is chosen by God," Cunningham says. "Even before Christianity became a tolerated religion in the Roman Empire in the early 4th century, certain people were designated as saints in a more particular sense as people who were outstanding models of the Christian faith."
