Technology has taken us far and made our lives easy. But it only works for us until our own body is capable of using them.
Amputees all around the world have been dependent on others' help to carry out many of their basic tasks for them. But the days of trouble are over with these Bebionic Hands. Developed by Bebionic, a UK-based technology development institution, has won the British Engineering Excellence Award.
What's more is Angel Giuffria from 'Hunger Games: Mockingjay' uses one too. So is it really a miracle, can it turn out to be something dangerous? Let us see.
Winner of the 'New Mechanical Product of the Year 2015', these prosthetic hands are the next best thing or probably the beginning of the age of cyborgs, you never know!
These hands are the best in the market and have been successfully tested with now-happy patients.
And looks like she's liking it. Angel Guiffria has worked as an actress in many projects, Hunger Games being her most challenging job. In her words, straightening her hair was a challenge too 'once'.
Pretty cool stuff and it is light and strong and agile. Made of metal and carbon fibre, it is really a good substitute to hands and not to mention, replaceable (if not repairable). It is also pretty damn accurate, just look further..
And of course, with a lot of other stuff. And there is always a possibility of technology going wild. Till that day, it is a blessing and synonym to happiness for the amputees.
Like never. So let's spread the word to all those who need a hand, a real helping hand; share friends, share!
