The popular singer, Scott Weiland, formerly of the Grammy-award winning Stone Temple Pilots and Velvet Revolver, died recently, aged 48. The death has been said to have come as a result of his repeated substance abuse, and a more recent use of cocaine. Check out the whole story.

Former Stone Temple Pilots singer Scott Weiland (right) was found dead on his tour bus Monday night.
He shared the last photos of his night out before a performance with his followers on his Instagram.
Weiland had traveled from Canada to Minnesota for a show with his band Scott Weiland & the Wildabouts, before his death.
His third wife, who was devastated by the news of his death.
He also had two children from his second wife.
The cause of his death has been attributed to his use of drugs with which he had been struggling for a long time.
Drugs were found on the bus in which he was found dead. However, Weiland's wife insists that her husband had not done drugs for years.
The troubled singer was remembered in a memorial Facebook post on his page on Monday morning.
