The French and U.S. led coalition has been formed pre-dominantly for taking action in Syria. Even British MPs have voted unanimously for becoming a part of this coalition. The country which has been devastated by the war, witnessed RAF fighter jets within hours in its sky. The jets had the purpose of demolishing the terrorists below, on the ground. 57 minutes after the commons were made aware of the vote, RAF Akrotiri, Cyprus deployed two tornado jets for bombing ISIS in Syria.

RAF Marham, Norfolk sent two Tornado GR4 jets and a Voyager refuelling tanker for the region, within a few hours of the vote. After an emotional speech by the shadow foreign secretary Hilary Benn, majority of labour MPs were convinced in voting for the motion. Controversially, the secretary went against his leader. After a moving speech, when he finished speaking, applause exploded in the hall spontaneously. Undoubtedly, ISIS, the evil force, needs to be defeated even if you disagree with the action that is to be taken. Hilary Benn correctly pointed out that everything that is viewed as sacred is held disrespectfully by them. Whatever might happen, but, we must protect justice, democracy and liberalism.
