The wedding marks the beginning of a lovely relationship, the sacred bond between two people. While many of you would have come across various couples celebrating their anniversary by reliving their wedding day similarly, Cao Yuehua and Wang Deyi did but in a unique and incredible style.
Cao Yuehua and Wang Deyi an elderly couple from China, who decided to mark their wedding day by reliving it at the exact same place it had taken place all those years ago.
In 1943, the sweet couple met each other at a student ball held in Yunnan, which became home for many Chinese citizens who were evacuated during the second world war.
While Wang stayed in China, Cao was called up to Myanmar and then in India to serve as a translator.
"They have lived through tough times, but they never stopped loving each other. We want to help them preserve their memories of the love they have shared", said the couple's youngest son, sixty-year-old Cao Pangpei.
In order to relive the most important moment of their lives one last time, seventy years later the couple returned to the exact park where they married before.
The secret behind his remarkably successful marriage as in the words of Cao: "Couples should care for each other. I'm always thinking about her, and she's always thinking about me".
They got married in 1945, the year in which Cao returned from war service. Since then they have been at each other's side.
