The Reason Why These Parents Are Allowing Their 8-Year-Olds To Date Is Heartbreaking

Fate seemed to have taken a very saddening turn for 8-year-old David Spisak. He was found to be suffering from cancer when he was only two-years old. His cancer has returned three times even though he already underwent two transplants.

His parents decided to stop treatments on finding out that his cancer had returned in March of this year. This is because they wanted David to lead a normal and happy life.

On September of this year, David enrolled in second grade at school and attended classes as much as he could until he was not in a position to attend any more.

This time around, he met the 'love of his life.'

David was reportedly quoted saying to WTKR, "In art class, I told her I liked her and she just had a surprised face so we started dating."

Amber Spisak, David's mom was reported saying, "She's definitely had an impact on his spirit and I haven't seen this side of him in a long time. Certainly, at 8-years-old, you don't think that they'll have a first love or a first kiss or a first date and it was just something that I accepted wasn't going to happen. But, it did."

Roses and a teddy bear were brought by David for Ayla.
