Kate Stewart had dropped out school when she was aged 15, and became a single mother at the age of 17. But she always had an affinity for business, and that's what turned her life towards fortune. Check out the inspiring story of gorgeous entrepreneur Kate Steward and how she owned her life.
Kate dropped school at the age of 15 when she lost interest in studies despite being sharp and intelligent. She used to live with her grandma and grandad. During her childhood, she was not given the things that she wanted because of their economic level, and so Kate used to work part-time. After dropping school, she began to work full-time.
When she was 17, she became pregnant because of lack of proper knowledge. Her family was obviously shocked but were as much supportive. After the birth of her daughter Caitlin, she and her then-boyfriend split up.
It was a few months after the birth of her daughter that Kate decided to look for a job and do something. Kate enrolled on a part-time beauty course, got a job as a beautician and then landed a job as a secretary on Liverpool's Heritage Market.
Kate worked her way up to head cashier and by the age of 23, was running the market. She was soon making good money. She started buying properties, beauty salons, and opening off-licences. She even started buying and selling pubs. Kate bought Liverpool's Heritage Market aged 25 and revamped it.
Three years later, Kate was living in a luxury house and buying designer clothes. She began to lavishly spend money on herself and her daughter, enjoying the newly found fortune.
The Heritage Market was turned into a hotel in 2012. Since Kate handed over the reins, she has become a global consultant on markets and concentrated on expanding her property portfolio.
