“Love forever,” is a dream to all love birds wherein they wish to live and die together. But this is a real story of a beautiful couple Floreen and Ed Hale from New York that has proved that such kind of eternal love does exist. They have spent 60 years of togetherness, and even death couldn’t end their loving connection. This is one of those heart-touching stories in which they both wrote their fate by themselves.
It was the year 1952 when Floreen and Ed met each other for the first time. It was love at first sight.
Floreen was overwhelmed after knowing that she has got her prince who came to sweep her off the feet. She was filled with joy after Ed proposed her and she immediately said "Yes". So they decided to live and spend the life together.
They were so much into each other, they literally kept the promise they gave themselves before the altar. The promises of being together, throughout their lives; "Until death does us apart!"
Ed was rushed to the hospital as he suffered from kidney failure when he was 83. Few days later Floreen had a heart attack and was admitted to another hospital, which was far away from Ed's hospital.
When Ed learned about Floreen's health, he insisted on being moved to her hospital, even after he knew that he was actually too weak for the shifting. But the hospital assistants and their near ones helped the love birds finally reunite again.
After he was shifted beside her, Ed held Floreen's hand, and she noticed her husband's presence immediately. Floreen was already too weak and died after some time. Ed was still holding her hand, and he too took his last breath two hours later, and he also closed his eyes forever.
His last words were: "Floreen, I'll never leave you alone. I promised you back then that nothing in this world can keep me away from you. And when you go, then I will go with you!" How perfectly right he was! The most needed and the valuable thing in the universe is unconditional love. Love is priceless, and when you get a life partner so caring and loving, nothing breaks you apart, not even death. Share this amazing story with your loved ones, and let them know they are special.
