Thomas Beatie, a trans man, had his gender reassignment surgery in 2002 and became pregnant through artificial insemination in 2007. This was the one of its kind cases which proved that anything is possible with science.
The fertility issues can take a very different turn if it really gets easy for a male to have wombs!
This is easily possible in transgender women and this made scientists think of its possibility in men.
The problem, however, will be of the high cost of treatment.
This is yet another concern as it is not just about giving birth. The male will also have to take the lead to provide the post pregnancy care to the child.
Plastic Surgeon Dr. Christine McGinn says that human drive to be a mother is a very serious thing, but only the rich will be able to bear the surgery charge.
