Icy and freezy weather are just the tales of winter. Not wanting to face them is quite natural. Just imagine the bitter cold is not allowing you to come out of warm blankets in the morning but still you are taking your legs out of the cover for the sake of your job. And when finally you are leaving, what you see is a thick layer of ice covering your whole car.
I was amazed to find how to prevent an icy windshield, quickly defrosting a frozen lock and many more winters mess.
By heating the car key with a match or lighter and then pushing it into the lock gently will melt the ice. This process will quickly unfreeze the lock and will save our time.
Foggy windshields are the most dangerous condition if you are on the road. To remove fog without leaving a smudgy mess, clean windshield with a chalkboard eraser.
Cover your car side mirrors a night before with plastic bags secured with rubber bands. Then take it off in the next morning and see the ice-free mirrors.
No one likes scraping off the ice especially when we are in a hurry. We can save our time by spraying a solution of 2/3rd of running alcohol and 1/3rd of water over the windshield.
