One has to do a lot of hard work to get a job and moreover, to get a dream job, one has to work as hard as one can. But this Irish man found out an innovative way to showcase his skills and landed in his dream job by sending his to-be employers a bottle of beer to prove himself.
He found out that Rye River Brewing Company was expanding its business. This 32-year-old recreated a bottle of one of the firm's most famous brands, 'McGargles'; he had his own cartoon face on the cover with a label that he wanted a job and a reason to go to brewer every day.
"I also thought, even if they didn't, the beer might stay in their mind and if a post comes up at some point in the future, they might think 'who was that lunatic who sent us beer'.
"I was proud of the product but nervous as I thought the person would either laugh or I would be written off as the madman of the brewing community.
"But like my wife said if he doesn't laugh he's probably not the kind of person you want to work for - but he did.
"I think the package was attention grabbing too as Niall said his first thought was 'why has someone sent me a pipe bomb."
He will start his job on 14th December.
Incredibly creative work and idea.
Going to extreme levels to get your dream job is really worth every pain.
Special website developed solely for showing his talents.
Tutty is eagerly waiting for the day when he will be surrounded by beer all around.
He sent a cover letter too, which had all the details of his qualifications and experiences. What a creative man!
