Identical twins, Emilie and Charlotte Meaud, 30, died alongside 13 other victims in the Carillon bar massacre in the Paris attacks recently. These 2 sisters shared a hail of bullets from the terrorists on Friday night when they were out for drinks with their friends. Right now, their widowed mother and brother are making arrangements for their funeral and burial in their hometown of Aixe sur Vienne in Limousin, western France.
Emilie was building a fine reputation as an architect, moving rapidly through firms after graduating from La Villette, the National School of Architecture. Charlotte also graduated with an Economics degree and has been running a fledgling business, Scientipole Initiative, since September 2014.
Yet their family don't have any hatred towards the terrorists in their heart. They just feel sad about their loss.
Everyone loved the sisters dearly and now understood what's it like to lose beautiful people in their lives.
They found out the fate of the twin girls very late on Saturday and the family reached Paris on Sunday morning to make arrangements.
Their schoolmates are also bummed out on hearing the news. They never really met the twins after school but they always kept in touch through SMS or emails.
The same gunmen went ahead to the Belle Equipe bar in Rue de Charonne to kill yet another 19 innocent beings in the terror attack.
It is indeed sad to see the loss of so many innocent and wonderful beings at the hands of these gunmen.
