Islamophobia is a prevalent form of discrimination, especially since terrorist attacks that have been extensively covered by the media recently have featured terrorist organizations that are Muslim. However, that does not mean that all Muslims are terrorists, nor is terrorism solely in Islam. This post hopes to educate people that evil lurks in some people regardless of religion or belief. We should treat people without prejudice or discrimination, regardless of gender, religion, or race. Here are just five terrorist attacks committed not by Muslims, but by Christians.
Christian and anti-abortion right-winger Jim David Adkission entered the church on July 27, 2008 while holding a shotgun and began hurting and killing innocent children who were performing Annie Jr. He justified the attack because of the church's liberal teachings.
Dr. Richard Gunn was killed by an anti-abortion protester in 1993. The following year, Dr. John Britton and Dr. James Barrett were killed by Revered Paul Jennings, as seen in the picture. In 1998, Dr. Barnett Sleipan was also killed by a Christian terrorist. Since 1977, there have been 17 attempted murders, 383 death threats, 100 butyric acid attacks, 655 anthrax threats, and 41 bombings, as reported by the National Abortion Federation.
The United States' most notorious domestic terrorist is Timothy McVeigh, who created and set off a fertilizer bomb in 1995 at the Alfred P. Murrah Federal Building in Oklahoma City, killing 168 people and injuring more than 600 people.
Ever since they were formed after the American Civil War, the KKK has been one of the most evil organizations in the world. They are racists who will do everything for Protestantism and for their goal of "cleansing" America of other races. They have killed Jews, gays, immigrants, blacks, and Catholics.
In Jun 2015, a shooter went inside the Zion Emmanuel AME Church -- historically recognized as oldest black church in the Southern region of the United States and a symbol of defiance against slavery -- and killed nine people, including State Senator Clementa Pickiney. According to a witness, the shooter killed them because blacks were supposedly raping women and taking over America.
