The nature is unpredictable. It can keep surprising you. Especially, if you have recently been on a beach, beware !
This story of four-year-old Paul Franklin will surprise you and leave you astounded !
Paul had fallen and scraped his knee in the sand, and no one thought it would lead to something so unusual. "We cleaned it up and put a Band-Aid on it," said his father, Ken Franklin. He added that his injury swelled up and became infected.
The physician claimed nothing was wrong, but Paul's mom, Rachel, wasn't satisfied. So she decided to operate on it a bit. She then made a small incision, and was alarmed with what she saw.
"It looked like a rock. It was a black thing," Rachel said. Looking a bit more closely, she suddenly found out that she held a little sea snail.
A snail egg had got rammed in his knee as he had fallen. And it had grown there for three weeks. To make sure, Rachel put it in water, and saw it in motion, which confirmed the fact. Fortunately, Paul recovered from the injury soon. But, the next time you are on the beach, watch out !
