Twitter Pets Pay Tribute To French Police Dog Diesel Who Died Protecting Humans In Suicide Bombing

Diesel, the Anti-terror police dog walked to her death when she was sent into a building to sniff out the booby traps during the Paris attacks this week. She was blown to pieces when a woman came out, open firing with her AK-47 at the police and then detonated her suicide vest.

A wave of mourning across social media platforms was sparked under the Twitter hashtag  #JeSuisChien, which means 'I am a dog'. The hashtag has been trending on Twitter.
