Isn't it just wonderful how we all have smartphones and can click selfies anytime? Clicking a selfie is to capture a moment and all the emotions associated with it.
Media has been our medium to the scoop of happenings around the world since forever. But in today's world where nothing is constant and we keep coming across the incidents that are way too shocking. Just like what happened this Saturday, this guy just took a harmless selfie with his Ipad, but the Italian media house SkyTG24 posted a tweet claiming him as a culprit of the 13/11 attack. Nightmarish, isn't it? You can also support the victim of the ridicule, Mr. Veeren Jubbal, on his Twitter account.
The happy selfie, which he never knew would turn his world upside down.
This image circulated all over the internet on Saturday. The poor guy is shown wearing a suicide bomb vest and was claimed to be an attacker.
When the image was speculated closely, there came out many evidences of being photoshopped.
This Italian news channel SkyTG24 tweeted this post to it's millions of users without cross checking of the facts.
And soon the image got telecasted, it was sure that a wide variety of people had the news.
Apparently, Mr. Jubbal has had an online feud with the supporters of the gammergate movement and accredited them for this.
These people were more than happy at poor guy's misery. He ended up getting a cold shoulder from them.
This Sunday even a hugely circulated newspaper published his photo on it's front page.
He has been repeatedly tweeting all the troubles he's been facing due to the unwanted attention.
The events have clearly caused a tumultuous situation for Mr. Jubbal . He is doing his best to solve the issue and has gained a lot of supporters by his side.
