Headaches are quite a regular occurrence. With so much stress and hectic schedule, many of us experience in regularly. But what if you a headache turns out to be a lurking tapeworm camping in your brain. Well, the incident is real, and it happened with a 26-year-old college student. It makes us all the more aware about how deadlious the smallest of things turn out to be, so you have to be cautious all the time. Let's read his story and learn!
26-year-old Luis Ortiz's headaches continued to increase until he started to vomit, his mother immediately rushed him to the hospital.
When operated, doctors found tapeworm larvae in his brain which was still wiggling after the operation#4. They also told him that if he would have waited any longer he might have also died.
Now he is confused regarding where he would have contracted the tapeworm as they can be found in dirty waterbodies, in foreign countries and uncooked meat and Luis denies each one of them as the major reason behind it.
The notion of tapeworm swirling in our brains is quite scary isn't it?
