If there a one-stop school that can teach your children with every fact about life, it is the "school of traveling". Traveling serves and fulfills varied purposes of education which are left out in the normal school education.
This fact was very well understood and taken care of by the Baid family, who traveled past various countries and continents to cover a mammoth distance of more than 8000kms in their journey of 111 days. Let us take a ride into their adventurous trail and understand the importance of their endeavor.
They Started from Bengaluru and going through Nepal, China, Kyrgyzstan, Uzbekistan, Turkmenistan, Iran, Turkey, Italy, Spain and then finally reached France to complete their adventure.
They approached Deens Academy Principal to persuade her for an extended vacation. The principal readily agreed as traveling could have taught the kids with better values. Baid family took seven months for planning the travel and then executed it perfectly.
Punita remembers a very sweet experience where an Uzbek lady paid for their pizza without even letting them know about it. She said that the lady was in love with the Taj Mahal and hence with Indians.
There were times when they were in China and they cooked for themselves near agricultural fields or took small cottages on rent when they did not feel like traveling more.
They were stuck in the Nepal-China border due to the earthquake that struck Nepal. They survived 5 days sitting inside their car as the roads were damaged.
Starting from April 8, they were just unstoppable and were overcoming every obstacle on their way.
They had long talks with various embassies to finally able themselves with a proper plan.
They drove past The Himalayas, saw Acropolis of Athens, Eiffel Tower and many other must visit tourist places.
This is how the landscape changes in just a matter of time. The same happens with our nasty and mean life. Right?
