Fame and fortune in the entertainment industry requires one to maintain his or her looks, and no one can really blame Hollywood superstars for opting to go under the knife. Given the fact that they need to keep their physical image attractive, it is almost no surprise that several stars do go under the knife. But a few of them have succeeded in getting away unnoticed! But not anymore! Here are the top ten superstars who have had plastic surgery, and not even let you notice it till now!
The notorious bad boy of Hollywood, Mickey Rourke, had tasted great success in films, but hit a rough patch somewhere along the line. It was during that time that Rourke turned to alcohol and boxing to get through his days. One thing led to another, and he ended up with a physically beaten up appearance. It then that he decided to go under the knife.
Musical sensation Kenny Rogers, who was quite often seen and heard in the public, had gone invisible for some time. When he reemerged, he was a whole new person, at least by looks. He had undergone a series of plastic surgeries that included a facelift and Botox injections. He even had the bags under his eyes removed and his eyelids tightened! Well, Kenny too admits that his plastic surgery was a disaster!
The 'starchild' of the band KISS, Paul Stanley had undergone several plastic surgeries, but was able to hide from the media's eye because it focused more on the band's front man Gene Simmons' plastic surgery. Stanley's surgeries included a face and brow lift, eyelid tightening, lip augmentation and rhinoplasty.
Simon Cowell, known to be the harshest talent critic in the world, has made a name for himself by drawing out some of the world's best talents across the UK and USA. But for a man as busy as him, his face sure does not show the signs! Well, that's all because of the regular botox injections that he takes to revitalize his face. Radio personality Howard Stern has earned himself a lot of fame and fortune in the radio show business. In 2006, he decided to go under the knife. A person known to sport a sunglass all the time, Stern had his chin split scars removed from his nose and underwent a series of facelifts that would give him the confidence to no longer hide behind dark glasses. And Although it hasn't yet been confirmed, many believe Stern also had hair transplant surgery to help ensure that his black and curly head of hair wouldn't recede over time.
After delivering some of the strongest performances in films like Deliverance, Smokey and the Bandit, and The Longest Yard, Reynolds had disappeared from the public eye for almost a decade. And now, the difference in his appearance seems too drastic! Reynolds debuted his new looks at the 2005 Super Bowl looking completely different thanks to Botox injections that made his face seem paralyzed and leather-like. He even opted to remove the bags under his eyes, by a procedure known as Blepharoplasty. Well, it's just sad that his surgery didn't go that well.
