Becoming lonely is the most frightening part when a person grows old. In the United States, a major population of senior citizens live in old age homes. Whereas, others end life in loneliness. Here's the story of a woman who attempts activities she shouldn't do in her free time to kill loneliness.
Junk Mail is the name of a viral documentary story filmed by the Voyager crew. The documentary has a 98 yrs lady named Mary Tony from Pennsylvania. Voyager was making a research for how a old person spends the day.
Mary reveals, In her lonely time she receives Junk Mails, where she strips, cut the shit and drop it in the dustbin. She can't figure out the best thing for time pass, but merely land up in Junk Mail.
Mary enjoys a lot at the center with fellow old friends. They share feelings with each other and love taking care of each other. The old age home and retirement house have several people who witnessed hardship of life and finally decided to stay happy with seniors.
The film makers brought some workers from the center to meet Mary at home. The workers were shocked to know what Mary do in her spare time. The co-worker cried on finding how pathetic it feels when living alone.
The US Department of Health and Human released a research that states 6% non-institutionalized women above 75 yrs of age live alone. Mary's word: I do whatever I can...and when i can't anymore. I'm done for.
