The world of the social network is a new addition to the way people's daily lives roll, and even though there's been some time now, it is still relatively new. Social networking on internet, specially through Facebook is extremely helpful, but is as much dangerous if not handled with care. It is important to know the cons before enjoying the pros! Check out this story, and you'll see what I mean.
Say you receive a friend request from a decent looking man, who doesn't exactly seem familiar, but what the heck, you add him anyway! Later some day, you post a photo of your 6-year-old girl's birthday party, tagging all her friends and parents. "Great birthday fun at McKinley park, Missy looks forward to thanking all you kids for the gifts you gave her at Jefferson elementary tomorrow morning!"
The man you'd added sees your post, and sends out a mass email to his associates, and would be customers: "American females and males, ages 5-6. $8-10 grand, inquire on specific."
See, you just handed over a trafficker and his customers with details such as the school the children attend and the park which they frequent. So stop sharing everything on your social network. It is crawling with bastards, and no matter how closed you keep your account, incidents such as hacking and fake profiles can still crack their way into your lives and create tremendous problems! Beware!
