M iracles happen, and not just in folks, not just in myths, not as coincidences but as our own deeds. When we as humans, strive to protect our fellows, there opens a window for countless miracles for which no Gods are required, no divine interventions only our faith in ourselves and love for the other. Such a miracle happened recently when a pregnant woman was injured in Syria, along with her other children.
And these inhuman acts of men are not sparing women, children, nor places like hospitals. Right in between them was this woman, who along with her children was taken under the care of Aleppo City Medical Council. They were wounded, all, along with the unborn baby.
The problems and complications of the birth did not just end there. During the airstrike led possibly by the government, the shrapnels from the explosives did great damage and penetrated deep enough to injure her in the womb.
Just like any other normal child, of course with a little extra care. After opening her throat, she started breathing on her own and whimpering a bit, which was a relief.
It was then that the talented young doctors started off with the most complicated of work.
The shrapnel was completely and safely removed.
Hats off to them.
May the baby and her mother stay blessed always.
