If you're the one who doesn't have much time but wants your eye makeup to be perfect, here are some easy eye liner hacks to help you look charismatic. Don't worry, they don't take up a lot of time in the morning. So give your eyes a boost so that they attract attention in the best possible way.
Keep an eye pencil sharpener handy in your bag so that you can apply the eye liner with precision and avoid undue smudging.
It's a pretty common thing and the fix is simple as well. Make sure that you apply the liner a little over the lash line so that even when your eyes are open, the liner is still visible.
Be colorful. Blue, green and even white would be completely cool. But make sure you apply the colored liner only on the eye lid, lower or upper to give it a better appearance.
Just add another swipe of the liner on the other side or use a sharp cotton swab to wipe off the excess liner on one side. It's always better to add another layer so that you avoid any dabbing.
Using a liquid liner is a big NO for the lower lid. It will definitely get smudged and fall on your face. Instead, go for an eye pencil for the lower lid.
If you choose to curl your lashes after applying the liner, it may lead to smudging, so it is always best that you stick to curling first and then apply the liner.
The easiest thing to do here is to apply a layer of powder under the line of the liner so that it creates a physical barrier and the liner won't go down.
If you happen to leave a gap between the lashes and the eye liner, try extending the liner layer a little on the lower half of the upper eye lid to give a heavy look to your eyes.
Winged eyes look ecstatic but the tricky part is getting the wings smooth on both sides. Make a dot with your liner on the ends so that you can understand what point to stop at while winging the liner. Also, stick to a liquid liner for this one.
Never pull the skin of your eye lid while applying the liner because firstly it may lead to wrinkles over time, and secondly it would give you a shorter eyeliner since you're stretching the skin. Try looking the opposite way while applying the eyeliner in a particular direction to make the eyelid skin tauter.
Make sure you are removing all your eye make up before you apply the next day. If not, it would end up with dabbing and smudging which will automatically make it look unappealing.
Instead of lining the entire eye, make a V shape out of the liner by lining only the outer half of the lower eyelid. It would work as great tips for women with close-set eyes.
For a smokey look, make sure you smudge the liner on the lower lid with a precision brush and not make it as bold black. It should be slightly lighter than your original line that should be as close to the lash line of the lower eyelid.
