UK is experiencing the coldest of winters in the past five years according to the bookies. Experts are saying that there will be 36 days of continuous snow blaming it all on the chilly Atlantic temperatures.
AccuWeather meteorologist Tyler Roys said that"We'll see full-on cold spells. Northern England faces colder-than-normal periods, some of which could affect southern England, and Scotland is forecast a colder than normal winter. Given recent past winters' minimum temperatures of -8C to -21C, lows of that level are possible this winter."
Ladbocks' temperature has already fallen to -16C which is the coldest it has experienced since 2010's -21C
Experts say that the cold winter is because of the 1500 mile wide forage of North Atlantic in the north direction of Britain.
Mr Roys further add that "The Atlantic is very cold off the coast of Britain, which will cool weather systems as they move to in. Cold air is also expected from the Arctic." The weather forecasters have warned that there might be more than normal storms by the end of December interpreting flood risks, gales and washout.
