Dear Supreme Court,
Being a female citizen of India, I almost lost my belief in you, regarding past criminal cases that have been pending in the court. I remember the 2012 Nirbhaya rape case when the juvenile was set free just because there was no such specific law passed in the Parliament at that time. I also noticed that because of the same law, a terrorist was held in custody for quite a long time though many opined he must be hanged to death as soon as possible.
But now as the day arrived and the verdict of a few cases like 'Triple Talaq' and 'Right to privacy' surfaced, my faith in you seems to have restored. I'm certainly in a good position to speak in favour of it. I guess you gave us a noteworthy number of reasons to trust your sanctity. So, I'd like to thank you! Thank you for giving me and all other citizens of this country - H.O.P.E.
Through this letter, I'd like to express my gratitude and the joy that has surrounded the nation because of your take on 'Right to privacy'. With it, the impact on the coming verdicts can be ascertained.
