Elon Musk And Disney CEO Resign From Trump's Council Over Paris Climate Change Accord

The announcement of US President Donald Trump that US would withdraw from Paris climate change accord prompted high-profile citizens to quit as member of White House Council.

The Walt Disney Company CEO Robert Iger was one of the first persons who decided to step down from the White House Council which is full of high-profile people. These high profile members of the council, to which Iger served, is created to help the US President in deciding what's right and wrong at the global level for the US.

While joining the Council, Iger had said: "I made a decision that I thought was in the best interests of our company and of our industry, to have an opportunity to express points of view directly to the President of the United States and to his administration," quoted Resistance Report.

However, Robert Iger's announcement to quit wasn't the only surprise. The CEO of Tesla and SpaceX, Elon Musk, tweeted that he is resigning from White House Council.
