On Tuesday, Forbes released its Global Game Changers list featuring the most influential business leaders from around the world based on corporate growth, innovation and international presence. These global game changers are influencing industries and changing lives of billions of people around the world. Mukesh Ambani, the 60-year old chairman of oil-to-yarn and retail conglomerate Reliance Industries has topped the list for changing the game in the Indian Telecom market. Ambani is the only Indian in the list among conglomerates from eight countries. He was chosen for heralding a massive change through "bringing the internet to India's masses."
To be noted that Forbes second annual Global Game Changers list includes 25 "Intrepid Business Leaders" who are not satisfied with the Status Quo and are transforming lives of billions around the globe.
Last year, three Indian business leaders – Rahul Bhatia, director, Inter Globe Enterprises, Cyrus Poonawalla, Chairman and Managing Director, Serum Institute of India and Sunny Varkey, the Dubai-based founder and chairman of GEMS Education – had made it to the inaugural edition of the Global Game Changers list.
