With a price ranging as much as £1million, the Tibetan Mastiff is one of the most expensive dog breeds in the world.
But how and why so exorbitant? What do we really know about the dog which once became a rage among wealthy people?
As per some, it's an ancient breed which probably originated in Central China where it was spotted by Macro Polo on his travels and was described as “tall as a donkey with a voice as powerful as that of a lion.”
But it's also worth noting that the Tibetan Mastiff is not actually a true mastiff, which is “a type of large dog often used as guard dogs.”
And here I have some cool qualities about the breed, let's know them.
