Here's Why 85% People Say Sex Education Should be Compulsory

#IndiaKaPulse on sex education.

Sex.

The very word is enough to induce curiosity among people. Now, the funny thing is that however curious we may be, we can't really talk about it in the open, especially in India. Believe it or not, there's a social stigma around it. Even today, in the twenty-first century, it is very hard to have a discussion about it. And if the society is embarrassed to talk about sex, how will we educate someone about sex?

In a country like India, with a population of over a billion people, honestly, we could use some. The population of many Indian STATES is actually MORE than the population of COUNTRIES! For example, Uttar Pradesh's population exceeds that of United Kingdom by a huge margin, despite being similar in geographical area. In fact, even the combined population of UK, France and Germany is less than Uttar Pradesh.

The population crisis in India needs to be addressed and it should be done now. We can either have a strict one-child policy like China or we could pay more attention to sex education. Should sex education be made compulsory in India?

It is the same question to which around 85% of the people agree. Want to know more?
